Blast Off With Piano Summer Camp
June & July Camps for ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12.
This is a great opportunity for your child to try music and the piano in a fun & encouraging setting. The 5-day camp introduces the piano in 45-minute, small group sessions, with a recital for parents on the last day.
Your child will learn about rhythms, notes, & keyboards through fun activities, and will learn to play simple songs. This experience can help pave the way for future success on a musical instrument.
Included is a book with music & exercises your child can use well after the camp & is a great primer for formal lessons.
Cost: $75.00 per Student
Blast Off With Singing Summer Camp
July Camps for grades K-4, 5-8 & 9-12.
If you like to sing, this is the camp for you! In the spirit of Glee and High School Musical you will experience a week full of music and fun, ending with a performance Saturday.
Includes 10 hours of instruction, sheet music & a certificate of participation.
Early Registration: $150.00 per Student
Regular Registration: $165.00 per Student
Late Registration: $175.00 per Student
Blast Off With Recorder Summer Camp
June Camps for ages 7-8, 9-10, 11-12.
Have a blast playing your favorite folk and traditional tunes in our fun recorder camp! From the first day of our week-long camp, you'll be playing traditional favorites — easy note reading and rhythms — no previous musical experience needed. We'll learn simple harmonies, duets and rounds, too!
For those who have been introduced to recorders, our camps can offer intermediate repertoire — we can take our musical knowledge where it will — there is a wealth of Renaissance music, folk dances, light classics and songs of various nationalities too.
Recorders are often the first instruments learned. Recorders are inexpensive, portable, but, most of all easy to play. Great for family fun, recorder camp will enhance your summer experience. Sign up today and have a blast in recorder camp!
